Steve Geddes Artworks

Banner_4

My dad is an artist who recently re-discovered his talents. He just started up an etsy shop where he'll be selling his work. I have a couple of his paintings hanging in my house and I love them (he needs to stop giving me every painting I want or he'll go out of business!).

Go check it out!!

So cute!

Okay, John would kill me for posting this so don't tell him. But I went to his kindergarten spring music program last week (he's an elementary school music teacher). It was actually the rehearsal during the day. And during a couple of songs he knelt down in front of the kids to help them with their little movements. It was the cutest thing ever and I was giggling the whole time.

It's not easy getting 60 kindergarten students to do the same thing. But he did a great job.

Earth Day

John and I went to a little Earth Day festival at Elmwood Park a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful day and Elmwood Park is one of my favorite places in Omaha. The crowd was very "earthy" which made for good people watching. And dog watching! There were soooo many cute dogs there. The puppy from yesterday's post was one of the many I snapped.

This one looks like Gilly! Isn't he so cute?

I love this building.

Elmwood

As we sat waiting for the band to play (Sarah Benck and the Robbers, if your from Omaha) John made a little stick sculpture. He's like a regular Andy Goldsworthy.
