This little excrcise is ALL OVER the place right now. Blogs, facebook, on the walls of bathroom stalls in bars. Ok I made that last one up. But I figured I might as well join in and see what all the hype is about.
16 Random Things About Me:
• Coffee makes me sweaty. My palms and feet sweat and it is very uncomfortable. But does that stop me? No it does not. I do limit my coffee drinking though and try to only drink it if I really feel like I NEED it or as a special thing. Like right now. I am at a coffee shop on John's laptop. I can't go to a coffee shop and not get coffee so here I sit, sweating.
• I went to a Lutheran grade school from first grade through 8th grade.
• I am not a risk taker or into into anything that might hurt me (like skiing, skydiving, base jumping)
• About a year after John and I were married I wanted a cat so bad it was all I could think about. At first I just brought it up every now and then. Then I started begging. Then pleading. Then I wound up in tears one night. Then we got a kitty.
• John and I had cheesecake at our wedding instead of cake. I don't really like cake, and neither does John. But we love cheesecake. But I only had one bite of it at our reception because my dress was too tight.
• I worked at a Metabolife kiosk in the mall for a couple of months when I was in high school. It's a weight loss pill and I weighed about 99 lbs at the time. The boss guy told me to tell people that I had taken the pills and that's why I was so thin.
• I am already running out of things. Shoot. Um, I love letterpressed cards.
• John is 11.5 years older than me. But he looks my age.
• I don't listen to music very often or keep up on the "cool new bands"
• My iPod is broken because it got washed twice. The first time it survived, the second time...not so much.
• I am very bored with winter and CANNOT wait until spring.
• My brother and his wife live in Portland.
• I do not balance my checkbook.
• I can make a pretty decent turkey gobble sound.
• I graduated college in exactly four years, no summer classes, no extra credits in high school. It's very hard to do this now. I think universities make it hard on purpose to get more of your money. But I lucked into a little program that helped me get the classes I needed right off the bat.
• My freshman year college roommate became my instant best friend and still is to this day. Also something that doesn't happen very often.
Hey, that's it! That wasn't so hard after all.
Here's what I looked like while thinking of all those things.
